It’s as easy as 1, 2, 3!

Painting can be a bit over whelming for those who don’t know how to paint. The theory is simple, Prep is 95% of the job. If you do your prep correctly, your paint job will look like is was done by a professional. Same rules apply for interior and exterior applications.

1.    Clean:    Clean surface thoroughly with T.S.P and rinse well, be sure all residue is removed
2.    Dry:        Make sure surface is completely dry
3.    Dull:        Sand surface to remove lump, bumps and to give your coat of paint a porous surface to adhere to.

So this is the basics of painting but of course you want to make sure all nail holes are filled with paintable filler and you use a paintable caulking for all cracks and trim.
If all else fails, read the directions on the side of the paint can or phone your local Benjamin Moore paint store and we will be happy to answer your questions.

At Benjamin Moore, we stand behind our products. Paint is only guaranteed when proper preparation is complete. Labour is not warranted.
EXTERIOR: Watch for weather conditions.
